Position Details:
Store Operations
- Provide administrative support for daily store operations, i.e. verifying invoices (cost, freight, and fees) for payment processing, process purchase orders, reconcile credits, follow up on all paperwork, ordering, inventory and merchandising
- Provide support for merchandising programs
- Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of data related to store operations
- Coordinate the implementation and tracking of store planograms
- Research product sourcing (new product lines and categories)
- Assist Marketing team with promotional events, recaps, and analysis
- Inventory and sales reporting recap analysis
- Acts as a liaison with the retail stores and outside vendors
- Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Acts as project manager for special projects at the request of the president
- Works well in a team environment
- Portrays the company in a positive image
- Required to abide by all rules, regulations and policies of the employer
Giftware Buyer
- Primary buyer for giftware and related categories
- Generate product splits and distribution
- Oversee pricing and margins for giftware and related categories
- Reconcile giftware related invoices, freight, credits, and miscellaneous charges
- Manage and balance inventory of giftware department and related categories
- Work and assist store teams with giftware merchandising and display
- Monitor giftware department practices and procedures
- Attends necessary giftware buying shows with giftware support team
