Position Details:
- Responsible for billing for patients, long term facilities, third party insurance, Medicare, Medicaid and Hospice
- Reconciliation and adjudicate all claims and accounts
- Responsible for posting payments
- Verify insurance coverage for patients
- Prepare patient refunds
- Update medication lists for Hospice patients
- Process updates for patient changes
- Review Medicare/Medicaid reports
- Review census reports from facilities
- Provide professional and courteous communication to patients
- Other duties as assigned
- Works well in a team environment
- Portrays the company in a positive image
- Required to abide by all rules, regulations and policies of the employer
